COVID19 Action Plan

This plan is to ensure the health and safety of members and staff, by following the government instructions on safety.

At the clubhouse:

  1. The office will remain open during office hours for the time being. Please communicate with staff through the open window. A table has been put in place to ensure social distancing. Anyone who wishes to make arrangements to pay sub out of office hours can ring Mick Diviney on 086 2440174

  2. The pro shop will be open but please adhere to the following:

  • only 4 people in the shop at once,

  • bring your own pen/pencil,

  • observe social distancing at the counter and take your own scorecard from the place provided.

 3. Use hand sanitizers provided in foyer and pro shop and soap in toilets. Wash hands thoroughly.

 4. The bar is closed for the foreseeable future.

Competitions:

  • All Men’s competitions are cancelled except for the Spring League and Winter Leagues. Recording and communication of match scores will be clarified by Micheál Walsh (Men’s Club Secretary)

  • All Ladies’ competitions are suspended except for the Spring Scramble. Recording and communication of match scores will be clarified by Mary Reddington (Ladies Handicap Secretary).

On the Course:

  • Please repair all divots. This will help in maintaining the course as the greenkeepers will be stretched, having to work according to HSE guidelines which will hamper them in some aspects of their job.

  • Bunkers out of play. Rakes will be removed by course staff.

  • Always leave flags in . This avoids possible infection. Use gloved hand when taking ball out of the hole.

  • Remember social distancing: no handshakes / no hugging etc.

This Action Plan is subject to ongoing review and will be updated as deemed necessary.
